Tendring CAMRA - Please Help
As much as we enjoy visiting pubs we can't be everywhere all the time, so could really do with the help of any or all pub-goers in various ways.
Pub Feedback
We try and keep the information on Tendring pubs as up-to-date in CAMRA's Pub Database as we can, but things change over time. Perhaps when you are in a pub you can load CAMRA's website and visit the Pubs section on your phone, search for local pubs (which should find the one you are in), then have a quick look to see if there is anything obviously wrong.
Things that are most likely to have changed include which beers are on all the time, or how many there are in total, or opening hours, or social media pages, but if you spot anything wrong then feedback is always welcomed.
Beer scoring (CAMRA members only)
Beer scoring is used to help us monitor the consistency of beer quality in pubs across our branch area, which help determine our pub of the year and Good Beer Guide submissions (along with voting and re-surveying visits). Also done via CAMRA's website, you can submit scores from 0 (no real ale), 0.5 (undrinkable), through 2.0 for average up to 5.0 for best beer you have ever tasted and are unlikely to find similar again.
More details about how to beer score are available on our pubs page (you might need to scroll up slightly to see the start of the section).
Save Pubs, Join CAMRA
In 2020 CAMRA members were encouraged to display a "Save Pubs, Join CAMRA" poster in their window. This is a locally rebranded updated version if you want to display it.
CAMRA Leaflet Stands
If you see any empty CAMRA leaflet stands, please let us know where so we can top them up. If they are black or blue perhaps you can also mention that as we are gradually replacing those with the newer-branded versions.
CAMRA Leaflets
Alternatively, if there are fewer than about 10 leaflets left, let us know which leaflet and where so we can arrange a less urgent top-up. Click here to show the available leaflets (then click the image for a longer description, or the leaflet name to send us an email). Some leaflets have been discontinued and will be replaced by newer versions where available.

CAMRA doesn't just campaign for real ale. These leaflets describe how we also campaign for real ciders and perries.
