Tendring CAMRA - RambAle 7 - Great Oakley to Kirby-le-Soken
The route
The route begins at the Maybush in Great Oakley, picks up the sea wall at Thorpe Quay and follows that until taking a footpath into Kirby-le-Soken.
Estimated timings
Based on previous RambAle's estimates are based on 4km per hour rounded to the next 15 minute interval, with a half hour stop per pub.
Route 7 is 11.1 miles from the Maybush to the Ship, so will take about 4.5 hours; 7a is 11.9 miles (4.75 hours). Leaving at 12:30 assume we'll get there between 17:00 and 17:15.
The walk from the Ship to the Red Lion should take less than 15 minutes, so if leaving at 17:45 should be there for 18:00..
